Jackson's Story

Jackson was a healthy, happy toddler.

I mean, come on, look at him.

We put him to bed on February 27, with no indications that anything was wrong. Our lives forever changed on February 28, 2020 at 3:00 AM. We went in to check on him and quickly realized he wasn't breathing. He passed away in his sleep at 17 months and we do not have any answers as to why. We want to raise awareness and funds to Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood with hopes that families do not have to go through what we are.

Jackson was such a lover boy, he loved to give out hugs and kisses. He had the biggest, most beautiful brown eyes and the sweetest voice - his laughs were the best. He listened to anything his sister said and adored her.

He loved his paci, eating, playing golf, riding his scooter, lions & leopards, his train set and playing with buttons on the dishwasher.

Jackson's nickname "Jumping Jack" came from his love of jumping in the crib (and he could jump high)! He could jump before he could walk or crawl.

He loved Mickey Mouse, Bubble Guppies and Loo Loo Kids. Some of his favorite books are "Mama Loves You So", "Big Fish, Little Fish", "Peek a Who" and "Cookie Monsters Foodie Truck".

Although we only had 17 months with him, they were the happiest 17 months - Jackson was truly a gift, his happy and fun personality was infectious, he lit up any room he was in.
